Indian Associations in Atlanta



Atlanta is home to an active and vibrant Indian community.

Bengalis, Tamils, Telugus, Bengalis, Marathis, Kannadigas, Konkanis, Gujaratis in Atlanta have all formed their own associations to reperesent their culture and intersts.

Besides language based associations, there are organizations representing the interests of students at University of Georgia as well.

Indian associations in Atlanta are active and often organize events to celebrate prominent Indian events and festivals like Indian Independence Day, Republic Day and Ganesh Chaturthi, Dasara, Diwali, Sankranti, Ugadi and Vishu that bond the community.

Most of these events include cultural programs like Carnatic music concerts, Bharanatyam, Bollywood dance programs, Bhangra and food counters serving Idly, Vada, Mysore Masala Dosa, Dokhla, Samosa, Dum Biryani etc.
